April Farm Experience: Introduction to Native Plants and Making Plant Medicine (INDIVIDUAL)
Saturday, April 19th
10am-1pm
$35 individual; $60 per group (two or more people)
Children under 10 should be accompanied by an adult.
Learn how to grow, harvest, and process native plants the medicinal uses of native plants.
Emelina is a Curandera, Plant Communicator, medicinal plant caretaker, and a bilingual Nationally Board Certified teacher who lives in the Mission District. She believes deeply in the importance of serving the earth and doing everything we can to reverse the impact of climate change with small, meaningful everyday acts. She helps other people connect to their inner magic through learning about nature, working with plant medicine, and finding moments of balance and joy in San Francisco.
This Farm Experience includes:
- a tour of the farm and brief history of the land
- invitation to participate in a Land Ambassador-led farming project
- Hawk Creek Farm tea and snacks
- opportunity to harvest and bring home some farm bounty
- time to explore and enjoy the beauty of the farm, including visiting our hens
Farm Experiences are open to the public and all ages are welcome.
